I work as an Independent Advocate for the NYC Metro area and I am a 19 year Survivor of Domestic Violence. Two years after I left my abuser, I was witnessed to about the Saving Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and excepted Him.

Wow!! Glory Road Cowboy Church loved you!! I'm sorry we didn't get to visit a bit more. I noticed that you got to see an old friend - Mrs. Wilson from Winters. That's good. There have been many comments about your awesome witness through your singing - wonderful!! Your testimony hit pretty close to home with me and I personally know about the power of God's love for the sinner. As you know, in small communities, everyone knows everyone else and their business. I am happy to say that GRCC has been attracting the lost souls of our community. I do not know of one person in our congregation that has dropped out of another church to come to GRCC. Praise God - the people this church intends to reach are being reached. Thanks Dee for sharing with us. We look forward to next time.

Just saw you on God's Learning Channel. It is obvious that you are genuine and for real. That is so important in todays time...we need real and genuine people really interested in making a difference in someones life rather than the money. My name is Kelsey Burnett I go to school with your grandson Joshua and we are pretty much the best of friends ever and I am a Barrel racer and I have shown in livestock shows my entire life my grandpa raised show lambs but I show pigs and steers now that you have some background on this goofy 16 year old girl who is emailing you I have heard alot of wonderful things about you from Josh and just thought I would get the chance to talk to you through email because we both love to sing and sound even better together plus Josh has a unique talent that I myself do not have HE CAN PLAY GUITAR......But I did not just decide over night that I wanted to pursue a career in music it has played a very large part in my life so it would be an honor to hopefully meet you someday because I also think that you are a very genuine and giving person from everything I have heard and read about you I also saw that you are somewhat active with the blanco 4H so you are agriculturally active like myself and my family I know I have typed you quite a bit to read but I thought it would be nice to chat with you so have a nice evening and I am looking forward to talking with you .

I found your site while doing research on Domestic Violence for a speech in a Communications class. I am in college full time for Counseling/Psychology. I am going to be a Domestic Violence counselor. I was married to an abusive man for 19 years, and my 3 children and I endured unbelievable physical, emotional, verbal, financial and spiritual abuse.
