Dee Vickery Ministries
Christian Country Recording Artist & Speaker
From the bar room to the Throne Room, from an altar of witchcraft to the foot of the Cross, from victim of domestic violence to victor in Christ, Dee Vickery’s life is one of continuous testimony of the keeping, saving, miracle power of God.
Born again in a Free Will Baptist Church in Northglenn, Colorado in 1978, Dee made a vow to follow Christ wherever He would lead, thus beginning a most exciting adventure of faith. When the Lord called her to sing in front of two topless bars in Brighton, Colorado, she did. God honored that step of obedience with over 60 people accepting Christ as their Savoir. When He led her to Peru, with a missions group, she experienced seeing the miracle power of God save and heal over 5,000 souls in just four days of ministry!
Her CD, Hidden Treasures, has been released both nationally & internationally. One of her songs, God Bless America, Again from her CD, Hidden Treasures, was chosen by Christian Country Music Association to be on their Patriotic Compilation Disc which was released June 1, 2006 to over 3,000 radio stations nationwide. Her single "Jubilee Has Started" was released in August 2008 by Country Gospel Connection located in Branson, MO. The song was #7 on the Country Gospel Music top 100 Chart.
She has just recently recorded a new project called Hungry For Your Touch, which should be released in December of '09.
As a guest on God's Learning Channel, Dee was able to get her music & her message to hurting people around the world.
Before accepting Christ, Dee was a professional country-western entertainer. Having once entertained rodeo cowboys in the nightclubs, she now draws congregations of every denomination into the presence of Almighty God. As an ambassador for Christ, Dee has brought her gift of music & speaking to Full Gospel Business Men’s functions, Women’s Aglow meetings, Cowgirl's of Faith and a diverse spread of churches in Colorado, California, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.
Having experienced first hand the hammer of domestic violence and finding a tremendous lack of ministry for Christian women, the Lord has put a vision in Dee’s heart to make a place that would provide safety and healing for hurting families, thus Off the Beaten Path Ministries, Inc, (a 501c3 organization), was birthed. God also has given her an alternative Batterers Intervention program unlike any other.
As well as being a team roper & horse trainer, for many years Dee was actively involved in the youth rodeo circuit with her two sons. She loves animals & has a very unusual pet named BJ, which is a 2,000 lb. bull.
Dee has a passion for winning lost souls to Jesus Christ, exhorting & encouraging the Body of Christ & to bring healing to hurting families. Her music is high energy & heartfelt. The sound is country, but the message is Christ! God has definitely put a new song in her heart. A song of praise unto her God!

VISION FOR OFF THE BEATEN PATH MINISTRIES, INC. RESIDENTIAL RESTORATION FACILITY FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE:
Domestic violence affects the entire family. It does not discriminate. Violence crosses ethnic, gender, racial, age, national order, religious and socioeconomic lines. A shocking reality is that the Christian community is not immune to the destructive effects of violence in the home.
There is a desperate need for faith-based Christian programs that offer long term transitional housing for victims of family violence. Off the Beaten Path Ministries’ goal is to be a part of the solution.
Statement of Purpose: To provide housing, education, support and above all else safety for the victims of family violence.
Objective: To stop the cycle of violence.
Goal: To provide individual housing for both men and women and their children. The concept behind this is to create a feeling of home that will reflect each individual’s sense of pride and dignity. All the families living at Off the Beaten Path Ministries, Inc. will be in a state of transition and will be escaping a life threatening situation. The environment created within each home will be warm and safe and will offer space for both family interaction and private places for thought and peace. Each home will be fully contained where the family can enjoy a sense of normalcy in their lives and nurture personal growth and healing.
Off the Beaten Path Ministries, Inc. will offer a well designed, gated community of homes. This will create a sense of security, neighborhood and most importantly a sense of home for families in true need.
Attractive cottages will be available for women with or without children in one area of the 100-acre ranch. A lodge style facility will be available for men without children and cabins will be available for men with children in a separate area of the ranch.
The Ministry headquarters will house a library with collections of Christian resource material to aid in the healing process; a job training classroom where computers will be accessible for updating workforce skills; a child care facility run by experienced child care workers; a counseling office for private or group counseling sessions with a licensed Christian counselor. The ministry headquarters will also house administrative offices, a nurse’s station, chapel as well as a common area for meetings, fun and fellowship.
Each family will be welcome to stay at Off the Beaten Path Ministries, Inc. for two years.
Because our goal is to restore the entire family we will make available a similar program off site for the batterer. If at the end of two years the batterer has refused to enroll in the program we will do whatever is necessary to ensure the continued safety of the victims.
In those particular situations the ministry will help the victors (previously victims) get established in their own homes as they begin their new life.
